NUI Maynooth
NUI Maynooth is a dynamic and innovative university of some 5,500
students from every county in Ireland as well as an increasing number of
international students. Situated only 25km west of Dublin (half an hour by car
and fed by a regular public transport network!), it is located in Ireland's only
university town, Maynooth, which combines the historical legacy of its medieval
origins with a present day location on the fringes of Dublin.
We believe this to be the perfect location for anyone looking to
"go back to school"... Salsa school that is! This setting offers us a
combination of excellent dance space for both classes and evening events,
eloquent dining facilities, comfortable accommodation, all within a picturesque
and tranquil campus.
Available options when booking your ticket include accommodation in self
catering apartments on campus and meals served in Pugin Hall. Each apartment has
five bedrooms each with its own en-suite bathroom. There are a very limited
number of twin rooms available which also have en-suite bathrooms so please
contact us early and make a note when booking if you are looking for a twin
room.
Getting There
Getting there by Bus:
There are 4 different bus routes that service Maynooth and the fare is €2.10
each way.

information.
From the bus stop in Maynooth walk into town and turn left at the end of that
road. Continue straight to the cross roads (The Roost pub will be on your left).
At this point if you have a weekend
pass including accommodation then
you must turn right for the North Campus. Once you enter the North campus there
will be signs to bring you to registration.
For those who have day or weekend
passes only (no accommodation) please
continue straight through the crossroads and the entrance to the south campus is
directly in front of you. Again signs will take you from this point to the
information desk where you can register.
Please note, people registering with accommodation must check in at the North Campus before
attending any classes.
Getting there by Train:
There are regular trains going to Maynooth from Connelly Station. Fares for the
train start at €2.60 each way and can be bought in the station before you
depart.

When you arrive in Maynooth we recommend crossing the foot bridge that is just
to your left as you come out of the station and continuing down the road on the
far side of the canal until you get to the Garda station at the cross roads. At
this point if you have a weekend
pass including accommodation then
you must go straight ahead for the North Campus. Once you enter the North campus
there will be signs to bring you to registration.
For those who have day or weekend
passes only (no accommodation) please
turn left at the Garda station and the entrance to the south campus is directly
in front of you. Again signs will take you from this point to the information
desk where you can register.
Please note, people registering with accommodation must check in at the North Campus before
attending any classes.
Getting there by Car:
The NUIM website has detailed directions for getting to the college from all
around the country. If you are driving to the Event we would ask that you make
sure to park in the North Campus as there is ample parking there and the south
campus gates are locked in the evening!
